The Unley Repair Café is a place where you can learn to repair your broken household items, with the help of expert local volunteer repairers, for free!

Through our sessions we repair things, share knowledge and skills, enjoy cups of tea, reduce landfill, save money, make friends and create community.

Monthly sessions are held from 9.30am – 12.30pm on the last Saturday of each month at the Clarence Park Community Centre Main Hall, 72-74 East Avenue, Black Forest 5035. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t have something to repair.

Volunteer repairer vacancies come about from time to time, and we are always looking for volunteers with welcoming, co-ordinating, cooking and administrative skills. We always welcome volunteer repairers, especially electricians. Belair National Park (the Park) is 835 hectares of diverse habitats, supporting many threatened species. The Friends of Belair National Park play a critical role in the on-ground management of this incredible biodiversity. As a volunteer group, we simply don’t have the numbers to adequately cover the entirety of the Park, so every extra pair of hands really counts.

How you can help Join us at one of our regular bushcare sessions: Tuesday and Friday morning: every week, 8:30 am to 10:30 am, meet at the Green Shed (near Main Oval) before 8:30 am Saturday morning: on the third Saturday of every month, from 9:00 am to 11.00 am, meet at the Green Shed at 9:00 am Thursday evening: alternate weeks during daylight saving periods, any time between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, locations vary. Adopt a block – work in your own area, in your own time. See below. Help us in other ways. We’re always seeking more hands for non-bushcare tasks. Everyone is welcome to come and try, you don’t need to make a regular commitment, and there are many benefits for the Park and for you. We provide all training and tools; you provide the enthusiasm. If you’re new to bushcare and don’t know how it works that’s fine, we can help you find some easily identified weeds and show you how we remove them without causing damage to the native plants we are trying to protect.

sewing, darning needle felting locksmith mechanical/bicycles wooden items jewellery dolls, teddies, soft toys software knife sharpening electrical Last registrations for repairs for weekend events by 1.30pm. Arrival before noon is encouraged to ensure there is time for all items to be seen

Aberfoyle Repair Cafe is run by a group of volunteers who can help you repair your broken or damaged goods, learn new skills, and reduce things going to landfills.

We link people who know how to fix stuff with people who don’t, which fosters a wonderful sense of community.

Volunteers at our Repair Cafe can help with:

electrical repairs of small household appliances sewing and textile repairs of holes/rips/tears in clothing (no zips, hems or alterations) jewellery repairs of your favourite necklaces, bracelets etc bike and toy repairs knife/blade sharpening of household knives and gardening tools woodwork and small furniture repairs general repairs and maintenance We can always use more volunteers to help with both repairs and administrative tasks to help keep the repair cafe running.

4. Where possible, bring your own parts; or threads to match clothing repair; or preferred wool colour for darning, e.g. jumpers, socks

5. Bring what’s needed so that the volunteer-repairer can check the item, e.g., for a cassette player, bring a cassette; CD player, bring a CD; television, bring the remote control!

6. Please clean the item to be repaired, otherwise repairers will not be able to work on the item.

Coffee, tea, cacao, hot chocolate, broth, biscuits, etc available (gold coin donation to cover ingredients)

The Unley Repair Café is a place where you can learn to repair your broken household items, with the help of expert local volunteer repairers, for free!

Through our sessions we repair things, share knowledge and skills, enjoy cups of tea, reduce landfill, save money, make friends and create community.

Monthly sessions are held from 9.30am – 12.30pm on the last Saturday of each month at the Clarence Park Community Centre Main Hall, 72-74 East Avenue, Black Forest 5035. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t have something to repair.

Volunteer repairer vacancies come about from time to time, and we are always looking for volunteers with welcoming, co-ordinating, cooking and administrative skills. We always welcome volunteer repairers, especially electricians. Repair Cafe Payneham is a free monthly, open community event aiming to reduce waste in landfills, pass on valuable repairing knowledge, and create a sense of community. Belair National Park (the Park) is 835 hectares of diverse habitats, supporting many threatened species. The Friends of Belair National Park play a critical role in the on-ground management of this incredible biodiversity. As a volunteer group, we simply don’t have the numbers to adequately cover the entirety of the Park, so every extra pair of hands really counts.

How you can help Join us at one of our regular bushcare sessions: Tuesday and Friday morning: every week, 8:30 am to 10:30 am, meet at the Green Shed (near Main Oval) before 8:30 am Saturday morning: on the third Saturday of every month, from 9:00 am to 11.00 am, meet at the Green Shed at 9:00 am Thursday evening: alternate weeks during daylight saving periods, any time between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, locations vary. Adopt a block – work in your own area, in your own time. See below. Help us in other ways. We’re always seeking more hands for non-bushcare tasks. Everyone is welcome to come and try, you don’t need to make a regular commitment, and there are many benefits for the Park and for you. We provide all training and tools; you provide the enthusiasm. If you’re new to bushcare and don’t know how it works that’s fine, we can help you find some easily identified weeds and show you how we remove them without causing damage to the native plants we are trying to protect.

It is held from 10am-2pm, 2nd Sunday of every month, alongside Magill Rotary Sunrise Markets at Campbelltown Memorial Oval, corner Lower North East Road and Darley Road, Paradise. We have 30 volunteers offering their services as repairers, guides and administrative supporters. Offerings include:

sewing, darning needle felting locksmith mechanical/bicycles wooden items jewellery dolls, teddies, soft toys software knife sharpening electrical Last registrations for repairs for weekend events by 1.30pm. Arrival before noon is encouraged to ensure there is time for all items to be seen

In conversation with journalist Tory Shepherd, George will explore how the federal elections of 2022 and 2025 were an overdue wake-up call to three shocks that have reshaped our national identity:

Join us for a Guided Walk through the Park that is best-known as the site of the annual ‘Garden of Unearthly Delights’. This Park was once a despised rubbish dump and a quagmire. Learn about the huge efforts as early as the 1880’s to turn it into a much-loved outdoor venue space, as well as this Park’s role providing air raid shelters in WW2. Wear sturdy shoes for a walk of just over 1.5 km; 75 to 90 minutes duration. Children are very welcome. Dogs are also welcome, but on a lead, please.

Fundraiser for Rising Tide - plus a really fun night of dancing, socialising, music, community

Our skilled volunteers will be on hand for mending (clothing, textiles), heavy duty sewing repairs (leather, canvas, denim), small electrical, general household items, jewellery, dolls and simple bike repairs like punctures.

In collaboration with the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) comes the Climate-Conscious Scavenger Hunt in Tarndanya/Adelaide!

FREE COMMUNITY EVENT - SPACES ARE LIMITED

Discover the Adelaide CBD through a green lens. The hunt includes a variety of fun, interactive challenges, allowing you to observe biodiversity, find green initiatives, and propose areas for improvement on how we can better embrace and collaborate with nature in our beautiful city.

We will meet at the Adelaide Riverbank Lawns at 2pm, have a brief introduction and welcome circle before splitting off into groups and beginning the challenge. Please aim to arrive 10 minutes early so we have optimal scavenging time!

The hunt aspect is purely to discover the wonders of the beautiful land in Tardanya/Adelaide, you will be asked to take some photos, but please do not touch or interact with plants or wildlife that you may encounter along the experience.

Come along to meet new people, find out how you can be more active in the community, and come away with a strengthened love for the environment.

Psst, yes, there’ll be a prize for the team with the most points but everyone gets a little something to say thank you for coming!

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult but only need to reserve for one place

Please monitor weather forecast and dress accordingly as the majority of this event will be outdoors

A two-hour Guided Walk, learning about one of the best-loved parts of the Park Lands, along the banks of the Torrens, home to a variety of public art works, significant heritage trees, University facilities, many ducks, and much more. Features include the first arboretum in South Australia, the memorial to Forgotten Australians, Peace Park, Angas Gardens, Grundy Gardens and the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden. Wear sturdy shoes for a walk of just over 2km, around two hours duration. Dogs are welcome, but on a lead, please.

Preparing for Climate Impacts on Our Health Climate change is no longer a future threat—it is affecting our health and wellbeing today. From extreme heat and bushfires to floods, droughts and environmental damage, communities across Australia are experiencing the health impacts of a changing climate.

Join Doctors for the Environment Australia for an interactive Climate Resilience Workshop designed to help you understand these risks and prepare for what lies ahead. Facilitated by DEA doctor members, these workshops provide a supportive space to learn, connect and take practical action.

Together, we will explore:

How climate change affects physical and mental health

What individuals and communities can do to stay safe during extreme weather events

Practical strategies for building resilience and supporting one another

How stronger community connections can improve wellbeing and preparedness

Opportunities to advocate for climate solutions that protect health

This special event brings two together to pool resources and put money into ideas, projects and communities who are ready to make a difference. For Adelaide Climate Action Week (ACAW), this means we want to know what you’d like to do to act on climate.

We are launching with a total of $4000 thanks to the Awesome Foundation Adelaide and Humankind’s Ripple Effect (that’s 4 grants of $1000 each to start). The invitation is open to others to grow the pot (get in touch with Matthew via adelaide@awesomefoundation.org).

The giving circles involved (details below) have ways of deciding where our funds go. We will choose from the list of applications before the big day and on the morning of the event you will be able to learn about what we funded, or maybe even hear from those we fund (or shortlist).

In addition to the funds the giving circles are contributing, we are inviting people to come to the event and chip in. You will see when you book your FREE ticket that we are asking for contributions – these will all go toward an additional ‘people’s choice’ grant. The Friends of Belair National Park play a critical role in the on-ground management of this incredible biodiversity. As a volunteer group, we simply don’t have the numbers to adequately cover the entirety of the Park, so every extra pair of hands really counts.

On the couch in conversation with Moira Were AM will be Dr Sabine Dittmann, Ben Adams and Tony Shillitoe with an eye to the future.

Dr Sabine Dittmann is an internationally recognised marine ecologist. Her distinguished career has taken her to wetlands and tropical locations. She continues to provide advice to the Federal Government on biodiversity, Sabine will bring her deep appreciation of systems and how everything is connected from the moon, to the rivers and the ocean to this challenging conversation.

Ben Adams will bring his super coaching powers to this conversation from his experience in AI, cyber, space, and other advanced technology sectors. Ben believes deeply that the most important work happens when purpose-led people from across an entire system come together — not to protect their corner, but to see the whole picture.

Tony Shillitoe is a critically acclaimed author of scifi, fantasy, historical fiction and young adult novels who travels through time and space for inspiration and sources of truth. Retired, a reformed teacher of English and a student of contemporary politics, Tony believes that our future as a species lies in our ability to collaboratively understand and value our planet and all life on it because all life is utterly dependent on the planet’s health.

Moira Were AM has been hosting community conversations for decades on topics that help us reflect on the past, draw wisdom into our present choices and decisions to propel us forward to be good ancestors rather than prophets of doom. The Emerging Leaders Expo is the flagship event for youth at Adelaide Climate Action Week. By young people, for young people.

Young South Australians aged 16-25 are doing serious climate work right now, in classrooms, communities, labs, art studios and on Country. Too often that work goes unseen and unconnected. The Expo exists to change that.

Whether you’re already deep in the climate space or just starting to find your way in, if you’re a young person engaged in or curious about climate action, this evening is for you. Climate action looks different across every community, industry and creative practice and all of it belongs in this room.

Real conversations with the people behind the work

Networking games and a collective zine-making table

Mentors from across the climate sector ready to talk about your work, your ideas and what comes next, whether that’s a new collaborator, a pathway into the sector, or simply knowing you’re not doing this alone.

The format prioritises lateral connection over hierarchy. There is no main stage and no keynote. No polished pitch required.

The exhibited posters will be captured in a permanent digital archive on the ACAW website, giving visibility to the incredible work already being done by young people across this state.

Your poster can be about you and the climate work you’re doing, or about one specific project you’ve built, run, researched or made. This is about using your poster to inspire, teach and engage with peers who share your passion, and to catalyse more connections, projects and energy on climate action. Posters do not have to be fancy! They are a reference for discussion.

In the lead up to the Emerging Leaders Expo we will be providing support for those making posters including examples and an in person poster making a working bee, as well as being available to chat and answer any of your questions.

Celebrating powerful Aboriginal women from regional South Australia.

Grounded in deep listening and cultural practice, Tjukurpa Kunpu tells stories of connection - to Tjukurpa, to each other, and to Country. These thirteen artists are connected from many places across regional South Australia, each of them with deep personal connections to curator Marli Macumba.

Marli Macumba is a Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara, Arrernte, and Gurindji artist and emerging curator. A Ku Arts First Nations Curators Program Alumni, Marli continues to illustrate her steadfast commitment to elevating First Nations voices through her curatorial practice with her solo curatorial debut, Tjukurpa Kunpu.

With a strong focus on her home community in Port Augusta, she continues to champion opportunities for local artists to share their stories, celebrate culture, and strengthen intergenerational connections. This exhibition will reflect Marli’s evolving curatorial vision, one that centres community, culture, and Country.

Join us as we tour 3 very different permaculture home gardens and the community-developed Bassett St Reserve

What to expect

Of the two established gardens, Chris Banks’s has a ‘grandchildren and weaving’ orientation while Jasper Simmons’s has a ‘year-round fruit and alternative accommodation’ focus. The third garden is Charlotte Jantje’s Y12 Steiner School Permaculture Project from last year. What she achieved designing and landscaping her parent’s block from scratch is very inspiring. 

During lunch there will be a guided tour of Bassett St Reserve conducted by renowned landscape designer Evette Sunset. The all-inclusive program will culminate with herbal teas and a debrief at Jasper’s house.

Raising funds for permaculture

All proceeds will go to supporting environmental and food sovereignty projects across developing South East Asia through Permafund.

Discovery Walks are designed to connect you with the nature and community and are offered by Port Environment Centre in the cooler months of the year, with a range of walking lengths and locations.

We invite you to join us for a walk to Wara Wayingga - Tennyson Dunes.

Learn about this fragile ecosystem and the valued work of volunteers to educate and protect by restoring natural habitats and minimising threats to the plants and animals that call this place home.

This walk is approx. 5km over a 2 hour period and a good level of fitness is needed.

Initially we walk 30 mins one way to Wara Wayingga - Tennyson Dunes Conservation Reserve where we meet up with local volunteers from the Tennyson Dunes Group to learn about their current program and the biodiversity within the dunes. We return along a different route on dune trails back to Inlet Reserve.

What to wear/bring: - Comfortable walking shoes - Sun protection (hat, suncream, sunglasses) - Raincoat (if wet weather is forecast) - Filled water bottle - Snack/fruit - Backpack or bag to carry loose items - Personal items such as medications eg puffers - Camera (optional)

Participants under the age of 18 years must have a registered ticket and be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel if the weather forecast predicts unsafe conditions for our leaders and the public eg severe weather or thunderstorms – we will notify you with as much notice as possible should this happen.

In South Australia, rural and regional communities have been overlooked in discussions and responses covering mental health and suicide prevention.

That is why LELAN has partnered with Country SA PHN as part of the Commonwealth government’s Targeted Regional Initiatives for Suicide Prevention (TRISP).

Under this initiative, an Advisory Group of people who have lived experience of suicide distress have collaborated to create a short film about what we have heard from our communities.

It aims to reduce stigma, increase help seeking, and improve community responsiveness and advocacy by sharing insights and solutions from people who have lived experience of distress or who have been impacted by suicide in rural and regional South Australian communities.

We will be holding an online launch for our short film, to share it with the community.

Nganampa Ngura - Our places Post Office Projects proudly presents a group exhibition created in partnership with fellow Port Adelaide contemporary arts organisation Iwiṟi Arts. Featuring paintings and ceramics, ‘Nganampa Ngura - Our places’ is a celebration of collaboration, country, community and culture.

Join us for the 2026 Bio·R Planting Festival at Frahns Farm, as we work together to reconstruct habitat for biodiversity!

We are continuing this year’s festival with two big weekends at Frahns Farm. Our goal over these four days is to plant 32,000 native seedlings, creating vital habitat for wildlife.

Bio·R is a South Australian grassroots charity dedicated to reconstructing habitats for native wildlife. Our ambitious long-term goal is to reconstruct 100 hectares per year by 2032, and 1000 hectares per year by 2045.

To manage catering and eliminate food waste, your ticket covers tea, coffee, water, a delicious vegetarian lunch, and afternoon tea.

Join us for the 2026 Bio·R Planting Festival at Frahns Farm, as we work together to reconstruct habitat for biodiversity!

We are continuing this year’s festival with two big weekends at Frahns Farm. Our goal over these four days is to plant 32,000 native seedlings, creating vital habitat for wildlife.

Bio·R is a South Australian grassroots charity dedicated to reconstructing habitats for native wildlife. Our ambitious long-term goal is to reconstruct 100 hectares per year by 2032, and 1000 hectares per year by 2045.

To manage catering and eliminate food waste, your ticket covers tea, coffee, water, a delicious vegetarian lunch, and afternoon tea.

This year’s NAIDOC theme is Fifty Years of Deadly. It’s a tribute to the people who built this movement, the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who keep showing up, year after year.

Coffee Outside is an international movement that started around a decade ago in California with the aim of bringing the cycling community together to talk bikes, coffee and adventure. Since then, it has spread around the globe, and in 2025, reached Adelaide! The premise is simple. Bring yourself, your bike, and a beverage of choice to the designated meeting spot at the designated time. Hang out with other people and their bikes and drink said beverages together. That’s it. Coffee’s in the name and we encourage people to go nuts. Want to bring your camp stove, grinder and moka pot and make everything there? How about hot water and an aeropress? Instant coffee? A thermos of batch you made at home? Tea? Fruit juice? Whatever it is, we don’t care, so long as you like it. We look forwards to sharing in this new event with you and hope to see you there!

Join a relaxed community conversation exploring the idea that there is no “away” when it comes to waste, and what it really means when we say “throw it away”. Facilitated by members of the local PECWRAG group, this session will encourage honest discussion about consumption, waste and responsibility.

Discover visible mending as a creative way to extend the life of your clothing, bags and fabric items. Led by Donna Gordge from Stitch Paint Burn Studio, you’ll learn different stitching techniques to repair or decorate textiles. You can create a patch to take home or bring along items you’d like to mend or personalise. No sewing experience needed.

🌼 Free natural cleaning products to take home will be available at the end of the evening.

Belair National Park (the Park) is 835 hectares of diverse habitats, supporting many threatened species. The Friends of Belair National Park play a critical role in the on-ground management of this incredible biodiversity. As a volunteer group, we simply don’t have the numbers to adequately cover the entirety of the Park, so every extra pair of hands really counts.

How you can help Join us at one of our regular bushcare sessions: Tuesday and Friday morning: every week, 8:30 am to 10:30 am, meet at the Green Shed (near Main Oval) before 8:30 am Saturday morning: on the third Saturday of every month, from 9:00 am to 11.00 am, meet at the Green Shed at 9:00 am Thursday evening: alternate weeks during daylight saving periods, any time between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, locations vary. This is a call out for as many people as possible with banners and placards to gather at the front of the courthouse to support them. Many of us are feeling the emotional effects of living through environmental and social change. We may feel grief for what is being lost, anxiety about the future, overwhelm, helplessness, anger, sadness, or simply a growing sense that something is deeply out of balance.

After listening to Kriss Kevorkian’s recent webinar, many people expressed a desire for spaces where these feelings can be shared openly and honestly; without judgement, pressure to “stay positive,” or the need to immediately turn feelings into action.

The HEC Environmental Grief Support Group has been created in response to that need.

These gatherings offer a supportive community space to gently explore the emotional impacts of climate change, ecological loss, and the uncertainty of our times. Together, we will create space for reflection, conversation, connection, and mutual care.

This is not therapy, nor a political strategy session or debate space. It is a facilitated community support group for people wanting companionship, understanding, and the opportunity to process difficult feelings alongside others who may feel similarly.

The groups are grounded in the understanding that grief is a natural and healthy response to loss. When grief is shared in community, it can deepen connection, resilience, compassion, and our capacity to remain present to life.

Repair Cafe Payneham is a free monthly, open community event aiming to reduce waste in landfills, pass on valuable repairing knowledge, and create a sense of community. It’s a place where you can bring your broken items for fixing and learn how to fix them yourself – with the help of our skilled volunteer repairers.

Our sessions typically include electronic, electric, clothing, small furniture and general repairs. We post about our monthly volunteers, and repairs they will be able to help you with, closer to the event date on our main Facebook page. Please note:

One item at a time – one item is permitted per person at one time. The Unley Repair Café is a place where you can learn to repair your broken household items, with the help of expert local volunteer repairers, for free!

Through our sessions we repair things, share knowledge and skills, enjoy cups of tea, reduce landfill, save money, make friends and create community.

Monthly sessions are held from 9.30am – 12.30pm on the last Saturday of each month at the Clarence Park Community Centre Main Hall, 72-74 East Avenue, Black Forest 5035. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t have something to repair.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll take the controls of En-ROADS: the world-renowned climate simulator built by MIT Sloan and Climate Interactive, used by governments, business leaders, and negotiators around the world. Pull the real levers of change: energy prices, renewables, transport, buildings, land use, population, economic growth, and watch the global temperature respond in real time.

Working in small teams, you’ll debate trade-offs, test your instincts against hard system dynamics, and discover which solutions actually move the needle, and which popular ideas barely shift the dial. Expect some surprises. Almost everyone’s first plan misses the mark, and that’s exactly where the learning starts.

Come ready to argue, experiment, and think like a planetary leader. You’ll leave with a genuine understanding of what it takes to solve climate change, and a sense of what’s truly possible.

No science background needed — just curiosity and a willingness to make some big decisions.

Agenda 1 The mission: You are now the CEO of Earth. You need to manage four goals: climate, nature, economy, and social justice.

2 Meet the simulator Live demo of En-ROADS. See how it responds and establish the baseline: where we’re heading under current policy, what you can do, and how you can see what was impacted.

3 Team huddle Groups of 3–5 form. Before touching the sim, each team debates and sketches a strategy on paper: what will they prioritise, and what will they trade off?

4 Take the controls Teams access the simulation and build their plan, testing levers against the four goals.

5 Report back Each team shares their headline result again one or more of the four goals e.g. final temperature, the economy, nature and social justice as well as one surprising thing they learned.

6 Debrief What actually worked, common traps, and how this maps to real-world action. Closing: what are we taking away?

Belair National Park (the Park) is 835 hectares of diverse habitats, supporting many threatened species. The Friends of Belair National Park play a critical role in the on-ground management of this incredible biodiversity. As a volunteer group, we simply don’t have the numbers to adequately cover the entirety of the Park, so every extra pair of hands really counts.

Everyone is welcome to come and try, you don’t need to make a regular commitment, and there are many benefits for the Park and for you. We provide all training and tools; you provide the enthusiasm. If you’re new to bushcare and don’t know how it works that’s fine, we can help you find some easily identified weeds and show you how we remove them without causing damage to the native plants we are trying to protect.

We live in a world of urgency, crises and finding immediate solutions. But many of the challenges we face aren’t technical, they are relational and systemic. They live in how we meet each other and how we perceive the living systems we’re part of and are in dynamic movement together.

In this Warm Data Lab*, you are invited to step out of fixing, ‘faster’, and fragmentation, into a space for collective conversation, creating conditions of the soil for new ideas and perceptions.

We won’t have panels, presentations or experts. There aren’t going to be five top actions you can take right now.

​​Just story-sharing across the many contexts that shape real life. And in this space of being together, we cultivate different conditions that may just allow some new insight or noticing.

​This is an invitation to slow down, arrive exactly as you are, with all your messy complexity, and be in the stories together. What happens if we shift the conditions that allow for possibility to emerge?

Warm Data Labs were created by Nora Bateson as an approach for noticing and exploring complexity, by moving through it together.

In a Warm Data Lab, people share stories across the many contexts that shape their lives. The intention isn’t to achieve certain outcomes or solve problems, but because something often becomes visible in that crossing of perspectives that isn’t visible anywhere else. Its found in the gaps, the contradictions, the unexpected resonances between very different lives and experiences.

These labs can feel unfamiliar. As the process is both deeply familiar, and yet it doesn’t resolve to comfort or clarity. It is important to note that this is not a flaw in the design.

Warm Data itself is Nora Bateson’s term for information that is ‘alive’ and in movement. Information that keeps its context intact, the relationships, conditions and entanglements that give it meaning. Where most data strips that away, noticing warm data reveals these independencies and give us a deeper appreciation of our entanglement.

This event is designed for councils, asset managers, engineers, procurement teams and project managers interested in procuring and delivering low-carbon concrete and asphalt within local government.

The session will bring together professionals from local councils and industry to present case studies involving on how to specify and procure the right materials to move ahead in decarbonising South Australian infrastructure.

The session will explore the practical considerations of planning and delivering a low-carbon infrastructure projects - from early procurement conversations and specification development through to construction, quality assurance and on-site delivery – making implementation visible.

Speakers from different parts of the value chain will share practical experiences, lessons learned and best practices, helping participants understand how low-carbon materials can be specified, procured and delivered within existing council frameworks.

Networking Following the presentations, attendees are invited to stay for an hour of networking.

This provides an opportunity for councils, practitioners and suppliers to continue discussions, share experiences, ask practical questions and build the relationships needed to turn low-carbon ambitions into successful projects.
