Post Office Projects GalleryWebsiteNganampa Ngura - Our places Post Office Projects proudly presents a group exhibition created in partnership with fellow Port Adelaide contemporary arts organisation Iwiṟi Arts. Featuring paintings and ceramics, ‘Nganampa Ngura - Our places’ is a celebration of collaboration, country, community and culture.
“Nganaṉa painting nyangangka nganaṉa nganampa ngura kutju paintamilalpai nganampa kulintjanguṟu.” - Audrey Brumby, Iwiṟi Arts Studio Artist.
“In our paintings, we are always painting about our own Country. Our places. We are painting as an expression of our own identity.”
Since its inception in 2021 Iwiṟi Art Studio has rapidly established itself as a highly regarded Studio. Iwiṟi creates a space for artistic expression that promotes cultural retention, transmission and wellbeing across the generations while also providing Aṉangu artists with commercial opportunities to produce economic benefit for their family and community.
