U City is an innovation of Uniting Communities, a not-for-profit community services organisation that exists to serve the people of South Australia.

In developing U City, we aimed to create a vibrant, integrated community that brings together residential, social, commercial and community services to establish a sustainable, inclusive and thriving community in the heart of the city.

The multi award-winning U City is South Australia’s first Certified Carbon Neutral Whole Building, developed by SA’s first Certified Carbon Neutral organisation.

    OUR ‘SAAY’ 2024: SA Aboriginal Youth (SAAY) Public Speaking Competition Finals

    U City

    The OUR 'SAAY' Public Speaking Competition encourages Aboriginal children and young people to raise their voices on important topics and matters in Aboriginal affairs. Entrants participated in Heats across the state, speaking on topics such as family, culture, racism, language, BLM, money, social media and country.

    12 Finalists will come together at Our 'SAAY' to participate in the final round where the judging panel will announce this year’s winners.
