This event is designed for councils, asset managers, engineers, procurement teams and project managers interested in procuring and delivering low-carbon concrete and asphalt within local government.
The session will bring together professionals from local councils and industry to present case studies involving on how to specify and procure the right materials to move ahead in decarbonising South Australian infrastructure.
The session will explore the practical considerations of planning and delivering a low-carbon infrastructure projects - from early procurement conversations and specification development through to construction, quality assurance and on-site delivery – making implementation visible.
Speakers from different parts of the value chain will share practical experiences, lessons learned and best practices, helping participants understand how low-carbon materials can be specified, procured and delivered within existing council frameworks.
Networking Following the presentations, attendees are invited to stay for an hour of networking.
This provides an opportunity for councils, practitioners and suppliers to continue discussions, share experiences, ask practical questions and build the relationships needed to turn low-carbon ambitions into successful projects.
