Renew Australia for All - Climate Renewables Listening Tour The Joinery

Renew Australia for All is a new, people-powered coalition backed by unions, social services, First Nations, environment and climate organisations, multicultural organisations, clean industry, faith groups and local community groups. We are united in our belief that Australia must act faster, and guarantee fairness, if we are to reap the benefits of the global shift to a clean economy in our homes, workplaces, and communities. It’s why we’re seeking a historic climate solutions package from the Federal government.

Renew Australia for All will host an Adelaide ‘listening tour’ event to gather the views and perspectives of people experiencing climate and energy challenges first hand and local knowledge about climate solutions in your community. We will share the outcomes and findings with national decision makers in Canberra and elsewhere.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please get in touch with Leigh Ewbank via website link (Solutions for Climate - CANA):

Port Environment Forum Masterplan for the Future LeFevre Peninsula City of Port Adelaide Enfield Town Hall

The State Government is preparing a masterplan to guide development on the Lefevre Peninsula and surrounding areas. It will consider the needs of the submarine program, port expansion, industry growth and the local community’s needs and aspirations.

Key considerations include infrastructure and urban layout such as housing, transport, open space plus environmental and heritage factors. Hear State Government and City PAE staff, involved with developing the Masterplan, brief the Forum about the process and progress to date, then join in the workshop to have your say.

The topic proposed for the May session of the Port Adelaide Environment Forum to be confirmed.
