β€œFrom Under the Rubble” is a documentary about the 2009 bombing of Palestine by Israeli forces. Australian filmmakers Anne Tsoulis (Writer, Director & Producer) and John Moore (Producer) shed light on how civilians are impacted by war. In this age of instant global reporting, it is rare to hear from the most vulnerable of people – children. The events are narrated by child survivors of the Samouni family, and illustrated by animation of their drawings. This recount of the bombing in 2009 gives us a glimpse of the situation in Gaza now, and how the lives of Palestinian people are being torn apart.
