ACAW - ActNow Theatre Community Workshop Intensive: Making Theatre for Climate Action with Nescha Jelk

Do you want to do more for climate action but struggle to start? Are you interested in theatre that invites community participation? Do you like to have fun? If you’ve answered yes to any of the above, this is the intensive for you. Join ActNow Theatre Associate Director, Nescha Jelk, to experiment with playful ideas for participatory theatre that motivates climate action, as part of the 2026 Adelaide Climate Action Week. The intensive takes place across two days. Please note, you must be available for both of these sessions to attend: Tuesday 28th July 6:30pm - 8:30pm ActNow Theatre - 144 Tynte St, Pirltawardli/North Adelaide Saturday 1st August 10am - 4:30pm North Adelaide Library and Community Centre - 176 Tynte St, Pirltawardli/North Adelaide This free event is designed for community members aged 18+, with a small donation suggested from allies to support the program. All donations $2 and over are fully tax-deductible. Please consider carefully if you are able to attend the workshop before registering your ticket. Places are limited, and our workshops often become fully booked, with waitlists of people wanting to attend. |
