NOTE - MEETING POINT IS BELAIR TRAIN STATION If you’ve gazed wistfully at the hills on your evening commute home or raised an eyebrow at the word ‘gravel’ but did not know where/how/who to ride with, this is the ride for you! We’ll be travelling at a casual pace and won’t be leaving anyone behind. However, these rides have been conceived as something of a ‘step up’ from our regular social rides, so if you’re thinking of attending please keep the following in mind: - We’ll be riding into the hills, so there’ll be climbing involved. At some points it’ll be so steep there’s no choice but to push your bike! Exercise makes you live longer, right? 😅 - Ensure you’re comfortable riding your bike on loose surfaces. We recommend a bike with a tyre of 35mm width minimum for comfort and control. - Bring along a spare tube or a way to fix punctures. - Ensure you bring adequate water and sunscreen. - Get your koala-spotting eyes ready. Coffee. Bikes. Nature. Good company. High caffeine, low stakes. Break up your working week and join us for our Coffee Outside event! Coffee Outside is an international movement that started around a decade ago in California with the aim of bringing the cycling community together to talk bikes, coffee and adventure. Since then, it has spread around the globe, and in 2025, reached Adelaide! The premise is simple. Bring yourself, your bike, and a beverage of choice to the designated meeting spot at the designated time. Hang out with other people and their bikes and drink said beverages together. That’s it. Coffee’s in the name and we encourage people to go nuts. Want to bring your camp stove, grinder and moka pot and make everything there? How about hot water and an aeropress? Instant coffee? A thermos of batch you made at home? Tea? Fruit juice? Whatever it is, we don’t care, so long as you like it. We look forwards to sharing in this new event with you and hope to see you there!

Celebrate Bikes, Community & Climate Action at Motherload with Kidical Mass Adelaide, 13 Morphett St, Adelaide As part of Adelaide Climate Action Week (July 27 - August 2), we invite you to join us for a special screening of Motherload - an inspiring documentary about cargo bikes, family life, and the growing movement to reclaim our streets for people and planet. This event is more than just a movie screening. It’s an opportunity to celebrate and reenergise the Kidical Mass Adelaide movement, connect with like-minded families and advocates and help shape the future of active transport in Adelaide. In 2026, we are celebrating five years of the Kidical Mass Adelaide movement! As our community continues to grow, we’re looking for new organisers and volunteers who are passionate about safer, more connected streets for children and families. In particular, we’re excited to begin our next major focus: supporting the creation of bike buses across Adelaide primary schools - helping more children ride safely, confidently, and joyfully to school together. Whether you’re already part of the movement or simply curious about how active transport can make our city healthier, fairer, and more climate-friendly, this event is for you. We’re working on our 2026 demonstration event, which will happen on Sunday, 13 September. All funds raised via ticket sales go toward the 2026 campaign.
