Kaurna/Adelaide Anti Oppression & Intersectionality Workshop The Exchange

Dive into real talk and practical ways to challenge oppression and deepen your understanding of intersectionality.

Join us on Karuna Country/Adelaide on August 10 for our Anti Oppression & Intersectionality workshop.

This workshop will be hosted at the Conservation Council of SA’s training space.

Whether you’re new to these ideas or looking to deepen your understanding, this session will help you explore the basics of intersectionality and understanding systems of oppression, while applying a critical lens.

This session explores the logics of oppressive systems and the ways these are rooted in colonialism and racial capitalism more broadly, as well as intersectionality and how it relates to systems of oppression. Participants reflect on their own positionality within these systems, and apply a critical lens to understanding intersectionality including shortcomings of this framework in working towards collective liberation.

Pricing If you are interested in attending but the pricing structure doesn’t permit, we have some complimentary/discounted tickets available. Contact us at info@huecolourtheconversation.com to discuss options.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of many lands on which we work and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded and this was and always will be Aboriginal land.

There is no racial justice without First Nations Justice.
