Coffee Outside - July
– Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi Wetlands (benches overlooking the water)
Coffee. Bikes. Nature. Good company. High caffeine, low stakes. Break up your working week and join us for our Coffee Outside event! Coffee Outside is an international movement that started around a decade ago in California with the aim of bringing the cycling community together to talk bikes, coffee and adventure. Since then, it has spread around the globe, and in 2025, reached Adelaide! The premise is simple. Bring yourself, your bike, and a beverage of choice to the designated meeting spot at the designated time. Hang out with other people and their bikes and drink said beverages together. That’s it. Coffee’s in the name and we encourage people to go nuts. Want to bring your camp stove, grinder and moka pot and make everything there? How about hot water and an aeropress? Instant coffee? A thermos of batch you made at home? Tea? Fruit juice? Whatever it is, we don’t care, so long as you like it. We look forwards to sharing in this new event with you and hope to see you there! |

Peaceful Protest and Community Action Training
– on registration
Many people care deeply about protecting our Park Lands and public spaces but feel uncertain about getting involved because they don’t understand their rights, responsibilities, or the legal framework surrounding peaceful protest. This training has been created to help people feel informed, confident, and empowered when participating in peaceful, non-violent community action. Come and learn about your options, understand your rights, and discover how you can contribute safely, responsibly, and effectively as part of a strong, united community presence. The session will cover practical considerations around non-violent protest, safety, understanding your rights and responsibilities, and the different levels of participation available. Our aim is not confrontation. It is to build a calm, informed, respectful, and coordinated community response that allows people to stand together peacefully in support of the causes they care about. “Our collective strength comes not from a small number of people taking risks, but from a large number of people standing together with clarity, confidence, and a shared commitment to protecting the places we care about.” 📍 Venue details provided upon registration 🎟 FREE EVENT – REGISTRATION ESSENTIAL For full event details and registration, please visit: 🌐 protectourparklands.com.au |
