The legendary Blak Nite returns to Carclew this May - in a powerful celebration of First Nations music, performance and culture. Blak Nite 2026 will feature a dynamic mix of established and emerging First Nations artists, including performers from Carclew’s Gig Rig Tracks program, which delivers regional music and dance initiatives across Whyalla, Port Augusta and Ceduna, Expect an exciting line-up of musicians, performers and dancers. Stay tuned as we reveal the full program of artists and performers - including the headline act - in the coming weeks. Beyond the stage, Blak Nite will also feature visual artists, installations, makers and interactive workshops, bringing together a vibrant mix of creative practices. There will also be market and food stalls offering plenty of delicious options throughout the evening. Blak Nite is a celebration of First Nations culture, creativity and community - spotlighting powerful voices and creating meaningful opportunities for emerging artists to grow, connect and be seen. Acknowledging Traditional Owners and showcasing First Nations artists is central to Carclew. Join us as we celebrate First Nations culture with some of the most exciting artists from across the country. Dupang Festival 2026
through Dupang, Long Point, Coorong
A three-day celebration of culture, Country and community on Ngarrindjeri Lands at the Coorong waterfront. Hosted by Uncle Moogy Sumner and the Tal-Kin-Jeri Dance Group, the festival brings together Aboriginal dancers, artists, weavers and knowledge keepers from across Australia to share their skills and stories. Visitors can join cultural workshops in weaving, carving and dance, explore the First Nations marketplace, and take part in daily ceremonies, including a special sunset smoking ceremony and corroboree. Evenings feature music, storytelling and dance under the stars, with camping available on Country. BYO camping equipment. Check website for program updates, directions to the festival site and FAQs.
