Boothby Candidates Forum on Affordable Energy
– Blackwood Uniting Church
Boothby Candidates Energy Forum Hear from the candidates of the upcoming Federal Election on how we transition Australia to a cleaner, healthier and cheaper energy future. Australia is in the midst of challenging global economic and political conditions that have manifested with rising household costs including energy. We are also going through the fastest technological change in global energy and transport since the beginning of the industrial revolution. How should Australian leaders handle this transition in a way that brings safer, more affordable and more reliable energy, and do it in a way so everyone can benefit? What are the best technologies and policies to adopt? We invite our community to be part of this discussion by posing questions to the candidates running to be the next representative of the Federal Seat of Boothby. Questions to the candidates can be asked via your registration on Humanitix. Your MC and host is Dr Kate Wylie, a medical GP and Executive Director of Doctors for the Environment. 🌭DemocracySausage.org - Which polling booth near you offers the best Democracy Sausage options? (Big decisons!)
– Everywhere
What is this? A map of sausage and cake availability on election day. I still don’t understand It’s practically part of the Australian Constitution. Or something. But how do you get all of the sausage sizzles? We crowdsource (or is it crowdsauce?) data from social media, the web, and from the stalls that people submit to us on this here website. To let us know about sausage and cake availability (or the absence thereof), the best method is to use the “Add stall” functionality on our website - you can submit as either a stall owner or just a ‘tip-off’ as appropriate. You can also contact us via our various social media channels listed below. To make this work, we’ve also used Australian Electoral Commission polling place data (likewise from the state and territory electoral commissions). Democracy Sausage incorporates data that is © Commonwealth of Australia (Australian Electoral Commission) 2025. |
