This program aims to increase tree canopy, reduce urban heat and support biodiversity.</p> <p>Small native trees (one per household) will be available for collection on a first-come, first serve basis anytime between 1pm-3pm on Saturday June 13th 2026 at the Parks Library, Angle Park.</p> <p>Seven tree species will be available to choose from:</p> <pre><code>Golden Wattle (Acacia pycnantha) Drooping Sheoak (Allocasuarina verticillata) Silver Banksia (Banksia marginata) Slender Cypress Pine (Calitris gracilus) Mallee Box (Eucalyptus porosa) Native Apricot (Pittosporum angustifolium) Quandong (Santalum acuminatum) </code></pre> <p>Information about each of these trees is available at Plant Selector Botanic Gardens SA.
