Description

Something big is coming to South Australia — and we want you in the room.

Adelaide Climate Action Week (ACAW) is South Australia’s inaugural community-led climate festival, taking place 27 July – 2 August 2026 across Adelaide and beyond. This is the official public launch — and your invitation to get involved from the ground up.

Join founders, community leaders, and key guest speakers as we officially unveil ACAW: what it is, why it matters, and what a week-long, whole-of-society climate festival means for South Australia right now.

At the launch you’ll hear about:

What Adelaide Climate Action Week is and how it came to be

South Australia's place in the national and global climate story

The five action areas shaping the week: Learn, Care, Use Wisely, Restore, and Be Ready

What a community-led, decentralised climate festival actually looks like in practice

How ACAW centres climate justice — including First Nations and Pacific Island voices

And most importantly — how you can be part of it.

We’re actively looking for people and organisations who want to:

Host an event during ACAW (big or small, ticketed or free, any format)

Offer a venue in the CBD or beyond

Volunteer and help shape the week

Partner with us to make it happen

No fully formed plan needed — just a spark of interest is enough. We’ll walk you through everything.
