Soul Spit Launch Night - Poetry for People of Colour – Ayla's Cafe If you're a Person of colour please come down and check this event, there will be an open mic section, feel free to speak, sing it if the spirit calls, say what's in your heart, in your notes, on your mind, spit out what's from your soul. We've got some super amazing features, I'm so excited to have Jihad down here who is so uplifting and wholesome and writes some great poems that will leave you feeling goosebumps till the end of the night. We've also got Stella, who's publishing her second book and somehow she's barely a featured artists within our spoken word poetry community which I find to be such a robbery. We will also be featuring some of Alyssa's textile artwork and a special surprise performance which will be announced shortly 🙊 Anyhow this event will be held on unceded Kaurna Country, at Ayla's Cafe Doors Open 6pm Sponsored by Myself until I find stakeholders 🤞🏻 Free Palistine 🇵🇸 Always was always will be Aboriginal Land 🖤💛❤️ |
