πŸŒ²πŸŒΏπŸŒ³πŸŒ±πŸƒ Hello all plant lovers!! πŸŒ³πŸŒΏπŸƒπŸŒ±πŸŒ² Grey Box Day is coming up again soon, on Sunday 5 May, 10am-4pm. Hosted by Greybox Community Organisation Inc, the day aims to raise awareness of the importance of Grey Box trees. The Grey Box (Eucalyptus microcarpa) Grassy Woodlands was formerly widespread across south-eastern Australia. Today, only 10 to 15% of its original extent remains. In the weeks before the event, Yellow ribbons will be tied around Grey Box trees in City of Mitcham to highlight these special trees. Grey Box trees grow slowly and rarely reach a size where they are protected in South Australia. On Sunday 5 May 10AM - 4PM, at State Flora in Belair National Park, there will be a special on native plants πŸŒ±πŸŒ²πŸƒπŸŒ±πŸŒΏπŸŒ³
