Survival Day 2025 will be a significant community event that brings people together to acknowledge our shared histories and to celebrate the living cultures of Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes (Torres Strait Islander) people.</p> <p>Held on 26 January, we recognise this as Survival Day, focusing on the resilience and strength of Aboriginal & Zenadth Kes communities today. The FREE event will feature a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony, speeches from Elders and community leaders, cultural dance, musical performances and creative workshops.
