DESCRIPTION:We live in a world of urgency\, crises and finding immediate
solutions. But many of the challenges we face aren’t technical\, they ar
e relational and systemic. They live in how we meet each other and how w
e perceive the living systems we’re part of and are in dynamic movement
together.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nIn this Warm Data Lab*\, you are invited to ste
 p out of fixing\, 'faster'\, and fragmentation\, into a space for collec
tive conversation\, creating conditions of the soil for new ideas and pe
 rceptions.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nWe won't have panels\, presentations or expert
 s. There aren't going to be five top actions you can take right now.&#13
\;\n&#13\;\nJust story-sharing across the many contexts that shape rea
l life. And in this space of being together\, we cultivate different con
ditions that may just allow some new insight or noticing.&#13\;\n&#13\;\
nThis is an invitation to slow down\, arrive exactly as you are\, with
all your messy complexity\, and be in the stories together. What happens
if we shift the conditions that allow for possibility to emerge?&#13\;\
n&#13\;\nWe are also hosting an event on Thursday 30th July 6.30-9pm for
those unable to make this time.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nWarm Data Labs were crea
ted by Nora Bateson as an approach for noticing and exploring complexity
\, by moving through it together.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nIn a Warm Data Lab\, pe
ople share stories across the many contexts that shape their lives. The
intention isn't to achieve certain outcomes or solve problems\, but beca
use something often becomes visible in that crossing of perspectives tha
t isn't visible anywhere else. Its found in the gaps\, the contradiction
s\, the unexpected resonances between very different lives and experienc
es.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nThese labs can feel unfamiliar. As the process is bot
h deeply familiar\, and yet it doesn't resolve to comfort or clarity. It
is important to note that this is not a flaw in the design.&#13\;\n&#13
\;\nWarm Data itself is Nora Bateson's term for information that is 'ali
ve' and in movement. Information that keeps its context intact\, the rel
ationships\, conditions and entanglements that give it meaning. Where mo
st data strips that away\, noticing warm data reveals these independenci
es and give us a deeper appreciation of our entanglement.\n\nTags: ACAW\
