We may feel grief for what is being l ost\, anxiety about the future\, overwhelm\, helplessness\, anger\, sadn ess\, or simply a growing sense that something is deeply out of balance. \;\n \;\nAfter listening to Kriss Kevorkian’s recent webinar\, ma ny people expressed a desire for spaces where these feelings can be shar ed openly and honestly\; without judgement\, pressure to “stay positive\ ,” or the need to immediately turn feelings into action. \;\n \;\n The HEC Environmental Grief Support Group has been created in response t o that need. \;\n \;\nThese gatherings offer a supportive communit y space to gently explore the emotional impacts of climate change\, ecol ogical loss\, and the uncertainty of our times. Together\, we will creat e space for reflection\, conversation\, connection\, and mutual care. 3\;\n \;\nThis is not therapy\, nor a political strategy session or d ebate space. It is a facilitated community support group for people want ing companionship\, understanding\, and the opportunity to process diffi cult feelings alongside others who may feel similarly. \;\n \;\nTh e groups are grounded in the understanding that grief is a natural and h ealthy response to loss.
